"I broke. I got to a place where I had to figure out what I wanted to believe. Did I really want to continue in this misery? I was in a state of perpetual depression, and belief that I wasn't worthy of anything good; my life was a drab mediocre existence that I would only get a reprieve from when I died. Basically, I was living to die. Think about that for a moment. I was living only to die. What the heck did God put me on the earth for if I was only living to die eventually? I knew God said He had a purpose for everyone and everything in existence...I existed so was I the exception? I was convinced I was the exception to the rule or the doctrine that God tells us we are all created for good works...somewhere did it say, 'in Christ we are created to do good works...except Kimberly Mooney. Not her.' --My Mind's Made-Up Version 1:1 (MMMUV or M3UV for short... it's a thing!)"

Why choose Kimberly as your guest speaker?

"Well, I honestly love this question! I have a deeply seeded passion that was placed in my heart from the time I was 5 years old to motivate. I always knew I wanted to 'give a motivational speech,' but, that was all I knew. Then...life happened.  How could someone that had been through so much garbage be worthy to speak? How could I be worthy of my goals?

God. God is how. He took all of that pain of the past and used it to make me new, my world new, and He allowed me to experience all of that so that I could motivate. Because of my story I am able to speak to so many situations in life. I am able to breathe life into the lifeless of our world because I have been there. I have been in the muck, and I’m willing to step into the muck with others.

That deeply seeded passion was a gift from God.  Though I had no idea at the time, my story is proof that He can and He will use all pain for His kingdom.

I love people, and I love to love on people. I want to encourage your group, however big or small to see the true nature of Jesus, even when it doesn’t make sense.  I want to laugh with your group about all the mistakes of my past, and the areas of life where God was up there just shakin’ His head at me...I want people to know that God loves them!

Life is hard. It just is, and on this side of heaven it will be hard. I want to encourage and motivate your group to find joy, even in the hard and especially in the hard. The Bible tells us to 'rejoice in our sufferings!' I want to help His people rejoice! I want to shine joy, bring laughter, bring soul, bring humility, and bring my pain-but, most of all I want to shine Jesus into your group."
